Wide open spaces, fresh air, and nature all combined to create a relaxing, holiday ambiance. The staff were friendly, the food was good and the accommodation comfortable. The views are amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset.  We would definitely stay there again. Read my detailed review on my blog. Link in profile.

Sundowners with a view of the sunset are absolutely excellent. Food and service is really good, people are very kind. The accommodation is dated and a little disappointing. Very close to the gates to etosh though.

Our trip to Etosha was a great experience. Staying at the Lodge however was a good choice. Friendly staff, beautiful decorated chalets just outside the national park. The food was extraordinary. The safari tours organised by the hotel were very good and informative. The pool is not headed but a pool is almost not needed as nature offers its full beauty.

Room Tip: Same rroms are quite a walk to the main house, about 7 min. walk

This was the third lodge we stayed at on our Road Scholar Namibia tour. It was close to one of the gates to Etosha National Park. It was much larger than the previous two lodges and more impersonal. We ate breakfast and dinner there and both were buffets. The food was good, with a variety of vegetables, salads, and meats. The cabins were basic with comfortable beds.

Had one night here in June as we couldn't get into Okaukeujo for that night.
Arrived around 12.30 very hot and tired after driving from Dolomite. Jeanette on reception said room not ready yet but go and eat in restaurant while you wait. We had already eaten but waiting was not an issue as we understood we were a bit early. However by 2pm my wife went back to reception and asked nicely how room was going. Receptionist snapped at my wife and basically said go away and she would let us know. Just before 4pm a lovely girl from the restaurant asked if she could help. I said we were not happy about room not being ready. She went away and another girl came back shortly after and said they had moved us to a room that was ready. So that was at least a positive.
Then the bus's arrived and it was chaos around reception. So basically this place caters to bus tours and if you are unlucky enough to be there at that time then you take pot luck in getting to a room. The meals were buffet style and ok but very busy. Rooms ok but nothing special. The so called view was really not worth the effort compared to others we have stayed at. For couples travelling independently there are much nicer places to stay.

Stayed: May 2018
