I don't know if I can say enough about how much I love The Hotel Frankfort. Right from the first phone call to make my reservation, all the way through to our checkout the entire staff were so wonderful. So friendly & welcoming...it was almost like visiting dear friends.

The hotel is absolutely adorable. The themed rooms are really fun. Our room featured a balcony, jacuzzi tub & sauna! The room was super clean, quiet & the bed was very comfortable. What more could you ask for?

The hotel offers light breakfast items to get your day started, and if you want more there are nearby places to go. Location of the hotel is fantastic. Right downtown, it's only a short walk to the beach & close to several great places to eat. If you stay here when the hotel restaurant is open, you really should give them a try, the food is amazing!

We had a great stay. We will stay again for sure.

Room Tip: Themed rooms so check out the pictures online before booking.

Thank you for your kind words! We always say, "Come As A Guest; Leave As A Friend" and we mean it. You stayed in our Up North Room and next we suggest for you our Sunflower Room. We are so looking forward to your next stay! Thank you again.

The Hotel was operating on off-season mode. The restaurant was closed during this time of year. The room are dated and there are no phones in the room. The rooms have luan doors with a simple chain which could be broken into quite easily. Worst was the fact that there were staff in the hotel overnight. They literally locked me into the hotel and gave a key to the front door. Did not feel safe to say the least. I could not wait for morning. Avoid at all costs.

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere

We are so sorry you felt insecure during your stay with us. We are a 17-room boutique hotel in a very safe, small, seasonal-resort town. The owner and hotel manager live within a short walking distance and their private contact information is given to all guests at check in for after hour needs.

Our reception hours along with the restaurant-season dates (May to November) are clearly stated on our website, at all on-line travel agency sites, on signs on our building and in the lobby, and on our voicemail message. We apologize if there was a misunderstanding.

Our rooms are continually updated, several pictures of each room can be seen on our website, and we often receive praise for their unique decor along with their cleanliness and our friendliness. Landline phones in each room were not used and deemed an unnecessary expense. Again, we apologize if this was an inconvenience.

Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Covered all the bases about the hotel and amenities that are offered. Rooms clean, bed comfortable. Location can't be beat. Located downtown but only a very short walk to the Lake Michigan.

We enjoyed our stay at the Frankfort hotel. each room has a different theme that it is decorated in. The Hotel was quite during our stay. The rooms are comfy and cozy. The restaurant was closed for the winter but will come back to try it when it reopens in May.

The rooms were all unique, the jacuzzi was wonderful, and everything was clean. We stayed in the barn star room and the only thing we wished we had was a desk.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though they have a strict refund policy, they refunded us completely for the 3rd night when we only decided to stay for 2 nights (due to needing to get back early - we wished we could have stayed longer).

The breakfast was okay. They had a nice assortment of basics like bagels, cream cheese, fruit, granola bars, coffee, juice, and instant oatmeal. No cereal, milk, or hot food like eggs.

The location was great. There are amazingly three restaurants within one block and you can see the shore from the hotel. My husband and I also enjoyed walking to a nearby bakery and bookstore.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: The jacuzzi was awesome. Choose a room with a jacuzzi.
