The overall experience was great. Just a pity that there was too little coral life within the resort. Great for small children for sure. Staff were all super friendly and made us feel great. The dining options were also fantastic!

Dear Freedom41520019857,

Thank very much for choosing Anantara Dhigu for your holiday. I was delighted to read about the memorable time that you spent with us.

We always appreciate when our valued guests share their feedback as it makes the service we provide even more worthwhile.

Our consistent aim is to provide a harmonious combination of the romantic, relaxation and a sense of adventure for all of our guests. The crystal clear waters filled with various species of marine life, the luxurious and stylish accommodation and our white beaches, all conspire to deliver your amazing experience. It's our 1st time in MALE with a 9 months old kid.
This resort is really kids friendly and we are really happy it has Nanny service for babies. Its comfortable as we can relax n enjoy at this resort as the hospitality is just mind blowing.
Being Indian Vegetarian we had less options to eat but since we requested the Chef they prepared for us all the time.
Thanks to Azul, Kabir, Manoj & Joy with there complete team for taking care of us perfectly.
Eddy the resident manager is kind enough to meet everyday morning as breakfast taking feedback so that it helps to keep things going better way.

We booked 2 room categories separately to experience both which was the best idea of my wife. Feels like 2 resort experience.
Being with kid Beach Villa was very spacious, comfortable as every services was close to it like restaurants reception pool n all.
The kids toiletries were already placed which we generally need to ask in other resorts.

Later 2 days we stayed at Water Villa which was beautiful and nicely maintained and excellent privacy.
Tough we got the last one and tough with kid in pram. Walking for any activity is too far off.
The ambience of both the rooms were fantastic.

Points for resort to look into-
1.Since the keys are normal there should be key holder next entrance inside the room.
2. The room service speed need to be increased as it takes minimum 15 minutes for anything to be delivered.
3. The cable car also reaches by 15 20 mins as mostly they are occupied.
4. The rooms with baby should be given some plates bowls & cutlery as baby food need to be prepared all day.
5. Few places have extra sand which make hurdle for the pram to move comfortably.

Best things @ Anatara
1. The people are always helpful and happy which makes the feel amazing.
2. No need to carry snorkeling kits as it's provided as you check in for free.
3. Slippers are in all room so no need to carry in luggage.
4. Cycles are there all across the resort so easy to commute.
5. On prior request we can get food as we want in dinner even for kids.
6. Kids play area is amazing as you can drop them from 9am to 6pm where they have fun and many activities to learn in.
7. The Aquafanatics for watersports is remarkable. Awesome staff like Ahmed, Mohammad and rest all were fabulous. We tried Parasailing, jetskis & seabob was great.
8. Pool side party with music is best thing to experience which happens once in a week.
9. We can visit other Anantara resort like Veli for evening dinner. Found that resort to be more lively than Dhigu. Must visit once there during your stay for Dinner.
10. Last but not the least the relaxing spa which made our vacation complete and energising. Don't forget to visit there before leaving this fantabulous property @ Maldives.
Time to end and get back to India to invite more people to visit this year to make there vacation Rocking. Cheers

I can't even express how much we enjoyed our time at Anantara. The staff was SO kind, and our two girls (3 and 5) loved Kid's Club so much that they sobbed on their last day (apparently hanging out with their lame parents wasn't as fun), which we didn't mind honestly.

Faith from Kid's Club was so fun and nice to talk to, and my husband and I ended up spending much of our time hanging out at Kid's Club partaking in their activities and playing soccer. The other ladies were also very sweet, but I forgot their names.

Bobir, the manager, was so friendly and spent hours answering my husband's annoying questions about the island.

Dr. Rui was incredible and we laughed so much with him while learning about health, Chinese medicine, and acupuncture.

Xavier was kinda and was a master at his craft of coconut chopping. Our girls were obsessed with him.

Bucha was so sweet to clean our room (and we have two toddlers, so you can imagine the sandy mess he had to face daily).

Rachel at the spa was THE most fun and kind person, and I honestly felt like we became friends. She also gave me a deep tissue massage that was on the next level!

My husband also took a Maldivian cooking class and the local chef was WONDERFUL and the food was totally edible (which is not always the case when my husband is cooking).

And finally, Shaam took some AMAZING photos of our family while we were there (and we aren't the most photogenic bunch around). We felt as if we made friends with the staff, and THAT is what makes a vacation in my mind...connection and authentic service.

ONE teeny tiny mention, we went to Aquafanatics and encountered two "instructors" who were WAYYYY too cool for us. I don't want to mention names, but they both came from a place that starts with an F and ends in croissants. They were dismissive and overall not friendly like all the other staff we encountered. No big deal, I don't have to work with them thankfully.

Here's the thing, the Maldives are expensive, but this was an EXPERIENCE we will remember forever and it was 150% worth it. It was a last minute decision to go, and we are SO grateful that we found Anantara. My three year old cried that painful cry that no mother wants to hear...she was genuinely SAD to leave, and so were we. My husband and I admittedly shed a tear too as we left. Like, who does that when they spend SIX days on vacation? Us, apparently.

We will definitely be back, mainly to see our new friends and relax in paradise.

Thank you a million times for your kindness and love! We will see you all soon!

Room tip: Awesome water views and amenities!

We stayed 6 blissful nights. Our party was a mixture of adults, teens, tweens, children and a toddler, each and everyone had a fabulous time. We were also a mixture of carnivores, vegetarians and vegans - the Chefs went out of their way in the restaurants to make sure we all had fabulous meals. All the staff were amazingly friendly and provided top class service. A big shout out to Sathik and his team at the Pool Bar who were outstanding. Yes the Maldives is expensive so we choose to go full board - I expected that to mean only eating in one restaurant but we could have our meals in any of their restaurants. Only down side was we had to leave! Thank you Anarara Dhigu for an amazing holiday.

This is truly a world class facility. The ease of access to the island is flawless. Its a given that food, facilities, activities would be of a high standard, but the staff simply make this property an experience! Up there in some of the best service we have received ever. Professional, efficient and courtious staff, you should be very proud of the team at Dhigu
