As Hampton’s are pretty much standard in quality we usually stay at them when traveling. Although the room was nice it was so loud my wife couldn’t sleep. After blaming the noise on the elevator and water softener they did give my wife a discount on the room as after all she didn’t get any sleep. Good thing my wife complained as they had also charged us 50.00 for our dog which is a service dog and charges aren’t allowed. Heather the night clerk although screwing up on the dog issue couldn’t have been more helpful that night. Kudos to her. The breakfast bar was the usual and not that interesting. I normally only eat cereal but their selection wasn’t appetizing. The coffee wasn’t hot at all but since they had a microwave I made do. Parking was ample as well. The restaurants near by are expensive imo for what you get. The build back better program you Dems voted for has failed miserably . When my wife complained about the noise they told her they normally don’t put people in the room we were in which is stupid as they had other rooms available per the clerk.

Multiple reasons. Check in and out were a breeze. Our room was very comfortable. It was too cool for us when we moved in, but we turned up the thermostat and soon had a warmer temperature set to our satisfaction. We appreciated having coffee available, even into the evening. Our two breakfasts were delicious, wonderful and tasty variety. And all the staff members we had contact with were most friendly and helpful. If we are ever in need of accommodations in your part of Iowa, we will remember our wonderful stay. Thank you.
