We have stayed at this hotel many times when traveling through Des Moines. Nice hotel with friendly staff. As a diamond member we almost always get an upgrade to a suite. We ended up in the same suite that we stayed in a few months ago. When we checked out previously we informed the front desk that the mirror on the closet door was broken and there was no desk lamp. When we got to the room this time, the glass was still broken and no desk lamp. Since the freeway construction completion, Room 426 is very noisy. (Please don't put us on the freeway side of the hotel)

Room tip: Get a room facing south (Odd number rooms)

Very clean and updated hotel, comfy beds, continental breakfast with good variety, good size pool but very small hot tub, decent fitness room. Only complaint would be there was no "welcome packet" in the room that told you about when breakfast was or when checkout was or what amenities were available - i had to keep asking the friendly staff.

Stopped here for the night, the hotel is just off the Interstate and easy to find. The check in process was great, the person at the front desk was excellent. Wish I could remember his name. The building felt relatively new and the room was very good, clean and comfortable. Would stay here and again and I recommend it if you're in the area.

This Hampton is quite new, and very well-maintained. The staff was friendly, and professional. The breakfast was good, by the standards of the set. A good location just off of the interstate. Will definitely stay here again when passing through Des Moines.

Picked this hotel to be near High Trestle Trail and relatives. This was an exceptionally clean up to date hotel. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast featured some new items. Staff was smiling and willing to help.
