We were in this hotel for six nights. Owner of hotel managed transfer for us from Thoddoo island. Everything was great from start to end. Ingvar and all staff from Ranthari were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is open from February 2021 so everything is new and modern. We had beautiful sea view room with king size bed. Food was totally yummy, we were in love with Buffalo wings and Pavlova! ☺️Hotel has fins and masks for guests so you can borrow it. Beach in front of hotel has big coral reef so it is good options how can you spend your time. Thank you for great time!

Since the first time we found this restaurant we gladly never went anywhere else to eat, it's simply the best option in the whole island. You are not doomed to eat rice and fish every day, enjoy freshly cooked meals including pizza! There's great internet too, quite rare in the middle of the ocean, and nice refills of water that come in cute bamboo glasses.

But the best thing about the place are the people who run it. David and Michelle were incredibly friendly and they even prepared a birthday cake when they heard that it was my girlfriend's birthday! It was such a nice gesture, it made the whole trip to the Maldives even more memorable.

Fantastic experience!

We came to Ukulas as a family during our round the world trip with our two children. The island is beautiful with a large sandy tourist beach and incredible snorkelling right off the beach. We walked out to look for somewhere to eat and stumbled across The Ranthari. This hotel is still being finished so we visited the restaurant. It has a fantastic location on the tourist beach. We met Michelle and David the first night and returned everyday of our weeklong stay. The food was fantastic (mac and cheese, fish and chips, hanburgers and pizza were kids favourites), the drinks delicious (best coffee, bitter lemons and ginger shirleys) and the atmosphere so friendly. David offered our 8 year old daughter a cooking lesson and they made a delicious pumpkin Tatan. Our 11 year son caught a snapper and grouper and David prepared sushi rolls with the snapper and cooked the groper for us for dinner. They are creating a wonderful business. We look forward to the hotel being fully open.

We had a very nice stay at the brand new hotel and spa! Nice big room with a stunning view to the beach only 5-6 meters from our door. Personal service and excellent food for all meals.
We participated at diving- and on fishing execution, both great experiences. A highly recommended place to stay!

We were invited to take a sneak peak into this new property - it's not finished yet (as of April 2020 they will have "soft opening"), but it looks like it will be very nice indeed! Nicely designed rooms, good beach location, friendly staff - and apparently it will have a rooftop pool as well as massage and other spa treatments available. Looking forward to seeing it completed!
