Mini apartments that are tastefully decorated. Very clean!! Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted in the tub enclosure. Nice quality. Breakfast was excellent! This is a late review from Dec 2021. We spent 4 nights in the hotel, in 2 different periods so 2 different rooms . First 3 nights in a 4th floor room, which definitely seemed nicer and cleaner. For some reason not consistent experience in the 2nd floor room. So speaking for the first nights, we enjoyed very much. Great staff specially management, which were very accomodating for our situation and to the many luggages we had brought. Room is good size and equiped with kitchen for longer stays. We had an issue with AC that was fixed very fast after we let them know. I’d say it is a very good option for travellers in the region.

My husband was REALLY cranky when we pulled up to TownePlace Suites. The receptionist, Taylor, was so fun and welcoming. We got a great room (who knew they all had stoves and refrigerators) and even though it was facing I-80, it was quiet. Taylor suggested the 1908 Draught House which was walkable which was perfect. The next morning, Taylor wasn't working but the male receptionist (didn't catch his name) was equally personable. Great breakfast and 3 different strengths of coffee!! We didn't bring our dog but I saw dogs there so it must be dog friendly. We are returning. Goodbye La Quinta.

Stayed here for the first time, but will likely not be the last. Good location to a major route on the west side of Des Moines and directly off of I-80, this gives fast access to a large part of the city and is very easy to find. Good sound insulation, even though we could see the Interstate from our room, there was no hint of noise from it.

Booked via online. Easy and affordable price. Requested extras (towels/toothbrush/razor ) all waiting at check in desk. Rooms was clean but table too large for area and club chairs were awkward. We were also facing outside main entrance with bright light -good thing black out drapes were there. Not told we needed to make reservation for fitness and pool. 2nd time passing through this year both were okay for short term

Had a brief 2-night stay and the location was ideal. The hotel was just off the freeway and the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was included (bottled water, fruit and an energy bar) given the hotel no longer has a hot breakfast due to COVID-19. The room had plenty of outlets for plug-in of devices. Overall a comfortable stay.
