Stoney Creek was the perfect place for us!! My daughter called explaining the loss of our both of our parents and John sprang into action providing us with a block of rooms. This is important to say because it was during a time where there was huge event in Des Moines and the other hotels we called couldn’t guarantee a block for us. He sent us a contract within a day and even checked on us a few days later. The price was affordable for both standard rooms and suites. They accommodated 70 of our family members and the check-in process was seamless. Their staff was AWESOME and worked to the best of their ability to take care each family as they came in at different times. They had run out of handicapped accessible rooms and called to find another room nearby for our cousin who waited until the last minute to book her room. The rooms are spacious and clean. We choose a suite with a full living room, separate bedroom, kitchenette, jacuzzi, and patio. Family members could come and visit with us after the funeral and we didn’t have to clean up. Our children had rooms that included bunk beds and our grandchildren absolutely loved it!!!! The hotel entry way, bar, and hallways remained clean the entire time we stayed.
