We had such a wonderful experience with our stay at Stoney Creek. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved the extended pool hours for our girls who are early birds and like to get up extra early. The continental breakfast had a large variety of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a family friendly place to stay.More

We have stayed here many times and it just keeps getting better. Our favorite stays are Family Christmas gatherings. The decor is very woodsy and they decorate it beautifully. The suites are huge which makes a nice place for our family to gather around the fireplace and open presents. We especially like the cottages where the breakfasts include made to order omelets. Every employee was extra kind and accommodating. You can swim in the snow.

Room was clean but there was a weak spot in the bathroom floor. Chlorine was a bit strong in the hot tub. Fitness room was a good size and had some nice equipment but the all-in-one equipment is in need of repair or replacement. Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean. Friendly staff.

Stayed here due to proximity to Iowa State Fair and was impressed by comfortable rooms and attractive indoor/outdoor pool.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was fine - the usual you get in motels but otherwise this has the feel of a lodge rather than motel.
There’s a pizzeria in the hotel and reception will happily give you take away menus for other restaurants to order from your room phone and have delivered to your door. We had good Thai food delivered.
I’d happily stay again.

My wife and I got there right about 3 for check in. Our room was not ready right away so we sat in the lobby for about 15 mins. Once we got to our room it was a very nice room. It was nice and quiet and the hot tub in the room was not bad either. Over all it was a nice stay.
