First, we found dirty socks in the bedding. They were full of grass - very disgusting. Then, we found public hair just sitting in the shower. Finally, the carpet had dirt and grime everywhere and had clearly not been vacuumed in a VERY long time.
We did bring up these issues with the person at the front desk, who told us to email the photos and call back later - which would have been helpful to us getting our money back, right? Wrong! When we did call back later, he hung up the phone on us twice and would not let us bring our grievances to the manager. Then we noticed the email he provided us to send the photos to wasn't working. Each time we sent our photos, we got notice that it was undeliverable.
Going to Super 8, we already had quite low expectations. However, this was worse than we could have imagined. If you can't commit to doing the basic upkeep for your rooms, you shouldn't be booking them out to your guests.
