Tour package is good but volvo services are average, hotel & food services are best and cab services are pathetic.

A quite place for a relaxed holiday with breathtaking views of snow covered Kinnar
Kailash and other peaks. The town is exceptionally clean & free of garbage dumps.

Road journey from Chitkul to Kalpa is amazing & adventurous. Reckong Peo is the main town and well organised. Though, we couldn't see the beauty of Kinnaur kailash due to bad weather but still, it was an awesome visit. Apple tree , silent nature with beautiful view , what else do you need. Suicide point is the main attraction & road towards that point not bad. HRTC buses go and local taxi can be hired from Reckong Peo as well.

At Reckong Peo, ATMs are available. So, before entering Spiti, it would be good to withdraw money.

Best part of Kinnaur, locals maintain their tradition & they look beautiful on traditional Kinnaur dress.

Day 1. We reached Chandigarh from Pune in the afternoon. In the airport Mr Sonu 9816 378 229 picked us up in his Innova and we started for Solan. Sonu is a very reliable and well behaved driver and his car is very well maintained, highly recommend.
We booked an apartment through Airbnb and it was a fantastic selection and our host Mr Abhinav not only saw that we had a comfortable stay but also took us for a trip to the town in his car.

Day 2. We started from Solan in the morning via Shimla and halted at Narkanda for Lunch. Reached Sarahan HPTDC in the evening. Bhimakali temple was an awesome experience.

Day 3. Sarahan to Kalpa HPTDC. In front of us was Kinnaur Kailash in its full glory. Kalpa village is worth exploring.

Day 4. Sarahan to Chitkul via Sangla. Beautiful and at the same time adventourous roads. Reached Chitkul in the evening and to our surprise it was snowing. Stayed in Chitkul for 2 nights which in my opinion was a bit of a stretch.

Day 6. Chitkul to Ramgarh.
Day 7. Ramgarh to Shimla
Day 8. Shimla to Chandigarh
Day 9. Back to Pune with a mesmerising experience
