Very nice staff, clean hotel, spacious room and comfortable beds. Good breakfast. The only issue was the extremely hot hot tub. Could only stay in for a couple of minutes and my skin was bright red after getting out. We stay in many hotels frequently and usually with hot tubs. Never experienced one as hot as this one before. Dangerously hot. Otherwise our overall stay was very wonderful.

Everything was awesome! I was there for my birthday weekend and we felt safe with the storms going through, the staff was helpful, very accommodating to our needs! The pool was just right and my kids had alot of fun! The breakfast was delicious!!
Conveniet to HyVee's, Home Depot, freeways, good Mexican food. Previously stayed at La Quinta across the parking lot; but, reviews said they were undergoing remodeling. The rooms were better at Country Inn & Suites, too.
Bathroom dirty. Pull out bed linens smelt. old and musty. Reservations we’re not honored at first. Had to practically beg for the right rooms. Still didn’t get the tooms I thought I reserved in Setember. Person at check-in was either new or acted like she could not resolve an issue. Had to get manager involved.

This hotel did NOT disappoint!!! We decided that we would come to Des Moines a night early before our Iowa association of fairs convention that is located at another hotel and decided to do something nice at a nicer hotel just for us for the night. We were so satisfied with the accommodations and the staff are all so friendly here! The night was quiet and we will definitely be staying again!
Great facility, friendly staff, good breakfast if you can be there between 630 and 930. Pool area is magnificent with a nice sized hot tub. Rooms are a very nice size with refrigerator and microwave. There is also a hide-a-bed couch if needed.
