We were only staying for one night but the service of these two professionals made us come back for a second night. They made it feel like you were at home and cared for and as we watched at breakfast - this excellence was shown to everyone!
If you want to start your day with a smile - this is where you want to stay!!! Thank you both for your customer service - they should have you training others - well done ladies!!

I chose this hotel for location and value. The room was large and quiet and everything worked - including the practically silent AC. The breakfast was included. The price was fantastic (for Chicago). The staff were consistently friendly.

It has no bar or restaurant and the decor is nonexistent BUT if you’re here to see the city, those things are unimportant.

Room tip: Don’t count on an impressive lobby. But if you want location and comfort, this is it.

Hello Spockis54,

Thank you for taking time to share your experience! I appreciate you highlighting the work of my Chief Engineer Jorge. He does a great job with preventative maintenance of our HVAC system to ensure that we're all very comfortable.

Should your future travel plans bring you back to Chicago, we'd love to host you again.

Such a perfect hotel. We came to watch Six at the CIBC theater and it was so fantastic to walk out to the show and walk right back in after and not be competing for an Uber. It was perfectly located by Millenium Park as well as two metro stations on the loop. It was also really nice to be by the CIBC theater because you immediately could see the hotel when you turned on the street even from far off to get bearings.

There was a lot of variety of food for a free hotel breakfast. They were also very kind to have bagged breakfasts available for people that didn’t have time to sit and eat before checking out. We did not get bags during our stay so I have no idea what was in them but I thought that was thoughtful.

Had a very nice stay here with 7 other family members. Hotel is located on top of a musical theater built in 1906. The rooms are neat, clean and well maintained. Room rates are competitive for the area and included hot breakfast which was good food-wise but see my later comments on service.

Used valet parking which usually took 10-15 minutes to retrieve but wait can be longer during weekday morning rush hour times or in evening during theater performances.

The Theater District location is great and it's a short walk to all of the Loop, Millenium Park, Riverwalk, North Michigan Ave, McCormick Place and Art Institute. Short ride share to the Shedd Aquarium, Planeterium, Museum of Natural History and Navy Pier.

The staff, led by GM Harman Hall, are excellent especially Ismeta, the woman running the hot breakfast buffet. In all my 35+ years of business travel, I had never met a hotel employee like her who was so cheerful, energetic and made every customer feel special. I will return some day just for this wonderful lady.

From the moment we arrived at the front desk, Sophia greeted us warmly and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Maids smiled and waved hello and our breakfast host Ismetta was bubbly and attentive. There were no frowns in this place. The beds were comfortable and the room quiet. At Most free breakfast venues you make your own waffles but Ismetta was always there with a smile and pleasantries to make guests waffles, clean a table or just make your day with a smile. Chicago was better than expected with smiles and hellos in unexpected places. Will return.
