We stayed here for my daughters graduation, hotel is very clean, loved some of the old charm like the mail chute in the hotel, and it was in a great location. But most of all breakfast every morning was truly the best, Ismeta greeted us every morning with a smile, she was so friendly and very helpful, she loved my grandbaby too. In this day someone who takes pride in their job is very hard to find, Ismeta is truly an exceptional employee and she made our stay wonderful. So thank you Ismeta. Would definitely stay here again!!!

This hotel is clean and the staff is the kindest and courteous I have interacted with in quite some time. They genuinely cared for the guests. It is also close to mass transit, shopping and restaurants.

This hotel is centrally located on Monroe and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go (despite inclement weather). The rooms were very quiet and that is a real rarity in this day and age. Well kept, and perfect in the sense that you had a spot to put an open suitcase, had 2 comfy chairs, one at desk and one that had a moveable table with it. Good size walk-in shower and bathroom. Plenty of hooks and plugs. I liked having spot to hang my coat by the door esp on days when wet from rain. I would stay here again as price is reasonable and staff is very nice. And just a great location.

Room tip: fast elevators so high floors are good

We loved this hotel. As everyone has stated the location could not be better. The people were all very friendly and helpful. The building is historic and has beautiful architectural details. The breakfasts were great and plentiful. I must also mention the woman who took care of the breakfast each morning, Ismeta. She was amazing. Always cheerful and helpful and often remembered people's favorites. She also made waffles for anyone who wanted them and went out of her way to assist.
We loved this hotel and would definitely go back.
