Recently, we spent a weekend at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. The location is great as it’s a little off the beaten path, making for a nice quiet room, but easily within walking distance to all the hot spots. We enjoyed wine and a lovely dinner on the terrace. However, what really stood out for us was the customer service, particularly Udo, the head concierge. Clearly, he loves his job! We witnessed him orchestrating the check-in of a busload of students; the smile never leaving his face. We travel a lot. Rarely do we experience this kind of customer service.

Stayed in a corner room on the 13th floor... Yes they have a “lucky” 13th floor. Views and room were amazing. Room spectacular with marina views of Lake Michigan. Will have photos to add to show how amazing it is. The building itself is exactly like the picture and those pieces coming out are real balconies outside your room.

We led 64 students to Chicago on a field trip and stayed at the Radisson Blu. The hotel in general was excellent, but in particular the concierge Udo went above and beyond to make sure the hotel was ready for the arrival of 2 busloads of students. He had keys and luggage carts ready for everyone, and oversaw our arrival with smooth competence. During our stay he was always available, and for our departure he organized everything, including overseeing everyone's luggage, for getting everyone and everything back on the buses. I give high praise to the entire staff.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here; this was not our first visit. We have family nearby and this hotel is VERY convenient. We found everything very quiet and the room very comfortable...with only on exception. Our first night the toilet would run about every 10 minutes. We called the next day and they sent someone to fix it...made it worse. Someone else came and, apparently, they did still not understand the problem. Having said all of that, I would still recommend the Blu Aqua as a great place to stay. The convenience and level of attention make it a really nice hotel.

The stay was great, the room and bed comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The elevator service was wonky with having to wear a wristband in order to use the elevator, having to use the keycard every time to use the elevator and having to compete using one elevator because the other malfunctioned.
