No visit to Chicago is complete without a visit to this museum. The Art Institute is made up of many different buildings filled with a wide range of art works from different eras all around the world. Miró, Dalí, Picasso, Giacometti, Magritte, Lautrec, Gauguin, Cézanne, Renoir, Pissaro, Monet, Manet, Turner.... It is truly amazing.
Unfortunately we had only 3 hours to spend here which proven to be practically nothing... I wish we could have spent at least a day here....
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you!
Highly recommended!

This museum is one of my favorites in Chicago. My friend's family and I could taste a variety of arts over the world.

We were in the museum for 4 hrs and we still didn't see everything. It was so large that we had to choose our favorite.

We went on a cloudy Sunday and the crowds were not too bad. We were disappointed that there were no tours in the afternoon so get there before 12 if you want a tour. Amazing collection of art work from all types. I did find the building super confusing to get around. The outdoor is cafe is nice break for all that exploring.
