My husband and I got stuck in the mountains near Lewiston. My husband is a US Marine Corp Vietnam combat veteran with COPD (on oxygen) and severe heart issues. After about a 10 hour ordeal, the Nez Perce County Sheriff's deputies gave us a ride to Inn America at around 2:30 a.m. We were exhausted and hungry. Though I could have walked a few blocks to get us food after we checked in (my husband could not walk that far), we figured we'd be asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow so we opted to forego eating. Well, Mary at the front desk is so kind and was genuinely concerned for us. She raided their employee freezer and delivered burritos, apple juice and snacks to our room. We were so grateful! The next day the day shift employees were at the front desk and I was introduced to Diane, who is equally as kind and caring as Mary. As we were arranging for a tow truck, Diane delivered lunch to our rooms! We certainly didn't expect that. In addition to their kind staff, the rooms were very nice and very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Without a doubt, we will stay again at Inn America and they will receive referrals from us to our friends and family.More
