Let it be idli, ghee roast or masala dosa, this restaurant is the final word for this at this town. Parking lot is not available for this restaurant. May you have a wait a little for the table too. But you will lick your fingers after the food. Guaranteed.

Visited this joint on the basis of other reviews. Seated at 9.30am with family. Busy place but moderately clean. Ordered masala dosa, vada, appam and idli. The masala was anywhere near crispy indicating not freshly prepared, the vada was cold so it was definitely prepared early morning and my really did not appreciate the appam. Having said that the idli was ok. The Sambhar was cold as well and the Mrs bit into small stone particles. I had to ask for a small container for the Sambhar which they won't provide until asked. The washing area was definitely a no no. I did carry one of the small stone and handed it to the owner cashier.

The thattu dosa that Idly shop is second to none.Parking is the only issue with this place. You have to park the car a bit away and then walk to the restaurant. But is a very busy place and they have a huge variety of idlis, special dosas etc. The food is made fresh and you have your eyes on the open kitchen. The podi idly and thattu dosa are worth a mention. Service is quick and real value for money.
