This rating is not a reflection of the hotel staff - they run a clean and efficient hotel. Awkward to write about, but the problem is with the toilets installed in last year's renovation. The seat is approximately 15 inches from the floor making it literally unusable for an average tall man to be able to sit and do his business. Husband had to go and use the mens room in the lobby which had commodes of a normal height. I imagine these low commodes would be difficult to use for the elderly and those with hip and/or knee joint issues. Everything else in the hotel was adequate. I'm giving such a low rating because the problem is such a major inconvenience. Our past experiences with this hotel had all been positive. Sadly, we will be looking for another hotel on our next trip to Cumming.

The hotel is nice, clean, and well run from the overall appearance. The beds were comfortable, AC was cold, the water was hot and in-house guest noise was not a problem.
No sketchy characters or location safety issues were seen or experienced. The parking area seems well lit and is somewhat a shared lot with the hotel next door.
The location shows good overall maintenance and upkeep. Many nearby dining and food options. Large mall shopping area nearby.
Breakfast was exceptional for variety and offerings. One of the nicer breakfast layouts for a Hampton in my opinion. Beautiful patio off the breakfast area with nice outdoor furniture. Finally what made this stay awesome was.....Sasha at the guest service and check-in desk. She's one of the true gems and valued people in guest services. Kind, warm, friendly, respectful and really knows how to treat people well.

The rooms were new looking. Everything was great. The breakfast had plenty of choices and they kept it well stocked. You had access to coffee and tea all day. The room was larger enough and the bed was comfortable.
