From the moment we were greeted on the front porch, until we reluctantly said goodbye, this B & B kept getting better and better. Bob and MaryJo, the owners, take southern hospitality to a whole new level while still giving guests ample privacy. We knew the reviews were good, but we'd only stayed at a B & B once before @ 20 years ago and weren't sure how we'd like it. I'm happy to say it exceeded all our expectations and then some. Aside from MaryJo and Bob being very special, the details like the bottomless cookie jar, lit fireplace on a chilly morning, fire pit lit @ night, nice robes, beverages and snacks always available, quality sheets, comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts, snacks and beverages always available, tastefully decorated rooms, (larger and prettier than the pictures capture), books, games, magazines and lots of info. on things to do in the area all add up to an exceptional stay. We liked it so much we stayed another night. Blue Ridge was great too! The downtown is charming and there is everything from shopping to hiking nearby. If you go, you'll likely leave feeling a bit pampered, definitely renewed, reluctant to leave and eager to return. We sure did:)!

Room tip: Can't go wrong, got a quick look at them all. If larger rooms aren't available the smaller ones are pretty roomy too and they all looked nice.

We were visiting Georgia for the first time and tried to spend some time on the coast, in cities and in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Aska Lodge was a perfect spot from which to explore the mountains. Starting with a wonderful breakfast with interesting guests and ending the day with a bonfire or sitting on our deck, our visit to the mountains could not have been better. Thanks to Mary Jo and Bob for their hospitality and recommendations of excellent restaurants and places to see.

A fantastic place to stay!
Very peaceful, natural surrounding area and nevertheless near by the town.
The hospitality of Mary Jo and Bob was great and their breakfast was delicious.

From the moment we walked in the door, our stay at Aska Lodge was the very best B&B experience ever. Innkeepers Mary Jo and Bob are naturals for the hospitality business, and we felt like we were actually guests in their home, rather than customers. The breakfast was delicious, and every detail was planned for and handled beautifully. Bob is a very entertaining host and Mary Jo is a warm and gracious hostess. We'll be back!

We had a short but enjoyable visit with Bob & Mary Jo. Great views, close to town, directions online made it easy to find. Now we are looking to buy in the area
