I wish I had a better experience because I would love to tell you that it was awesome…but I can’t. Maybe it was just our experience, but we didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I thought we would and I really wish we had just taken that day and used it as a pool/relax day and saved the $215.

Part of the issue was the rain. If it rains, two of the larger coasters have to be shut down until the entire park is no longer experiencing the weather. Then they have to run it through three times empty before they can put people on it. It would stop training, then they would get through two times empty and it would start again. This happened three or four times. We waited an hour and a half to ride one of the coasters.

When you come in, the first things you see are stores. All of the buildings just sell stuff. I would have thought ‘Lego Factory’ meant they showed you something about how they are made, but no, it’s just Legos for sale.

Half of the rides are stuff you would see at a carnival or fair, the other half are half-functioning (the fire truck ride had 5 trucks and only 2 of them were functional).
And take snacks/food. We ended up dropping $50 on the three of us to eat a pizza buffet.

The employees really acted like they were miserable and didn’t care about the service they were offering. Which after coming from Disney…oh man. It was a big change.

We will not go back.

Paid 17.00 to park in the lot.
Many patking lot lights were off in the parking lot when we returned after dark at 8:00 PM creating a frustrating, tiring, hot, unsafe situation for women with small children trying to locate their cars in complete darkness.
For the price of parking thousands of cars each day, you can afford to keep the lights in good repair, provide trams, and more parking attendants to help with questions and getting into and out of the park safely. No one was there to ask for help, parents were wandering around in the dark, tired after a long day trying unsucessfully to locate their vehicles. Cones were set up randomly and made no sense in trying to exit with two parking attendants near the exit in an area where after driving through the labrynth, I didn’ t need their services anymore because I was at the exit. SMH!!
Long and longer very hot and crowded wait times with reported wait times of 15 minutes that were in actuality 60 minutes plus waits. The fans in those waiting areas are too high to cool people off. The misters you have in a few locations would be better placed in the very popular rides waiting lines. At one point, I felt like I might pass out waiting to get on a ride with my nephew.
Food was not very tasty for the price.
I paid $26.00 for two refillable cups near the park entrance which turned out to be an expensive waste of money because I could not locate any other refill stations once inside the park. Please put up signs where those cups are purchased as to where they can be refilled in other locations in the park.
I read reviews online before coming where people said the park was dirty. I think overall it was clean, but you really should take a walk through the rides with long wait times because guests have a lot of time to look around. The stair area to go up to Coastasaurus needs attention. Walk those spots and pretend to be a guest and you will see the areas needing cleaning.
The workers were very nice and helpful yesterday for us which was not what I saw online. So, that was good to see. You are charging a lot of money for people to go to Legoland. Those areas I mentioned are easy to correct to change the overall experience at your park.

This review is limited to one of the restaurants at the hotel. I generally don’t eat at hotel restaurants. Given our schedule for this vacation, it found us at the Bricks Family Restaurant at the Legoland Resort for two nights in a row for dinner, which is a buffet. While they only sat people until 9:00 pm, the evening chef Pritesh [sp?] maintained a high quality, and diverse menu until we were done with our meal. The staff was also very attentive and friendly, despite our arriving at 8:50 pm. I could go into great detail over several of the items offered, but suffice it to say, that it contributed to very nice stay, which allowed us to spend more time on the property and with the family.

Made the drive from Orlando since our boys, ages 4 and 7, love Lego. They really enjoyed walking around Miniland, especially the Star Wars area. There are some amazing builds and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the displays.

There are several rides, but our kids really loved the play areas, from the wooden playground to the Ninjago training area. It’s a very interactive park. There were several areas for the kids to play and run and climb, which was a nice change of pace from the straight walking and waiting that we did at the Disney parks.

I hadn’t planned a water park day, but brought the suits just in case. I’m glad I did because it was really hot the day we visited. You can add on a water park ticket once inside the park, which is great. The locker rooms are very clean and they have lockers available to store your items.

We really enjoyed the water park and stayed there over half the day. Honestly, if there wasn’t a water park, the visit would have been quite short. The kids loved the Joker Soaker and there are slides for bigger kids. The lazy river and wave pool are also fun. Life jackets are available in various sizes for those who need them. They also have little Lego building stations to race boats or make other creations.

We enjoyed our visit, but probably won’t go again. Winter Haven is a bit of a drive from Orlando with not much around it. Also, I think our boys will age out of the park pretty quickly. There seemed to be many things geared towards toddlers and smaller kids.

While some of the rides were decent overall this was a very poorly run amusement park which is way overpriced. There were showers on and off during our visit and the majority of the rides shut down in the rain. While this in itself seems ok it takes at least 30 minutes after the rain has stopped before the rides get going again which we have never experienced at other parks. Give the dragon coaster a miss, this ride is so poorly run it takes bets part of an hour to get on with absolutely no crowds so I would hate to see it on a busy day.
