Michael's Ali Coal Fired Pizza was kind of disappointing. It looked good and smelled good and the menu made the pizza sound terrific, but it over-promised and under-delivered.
We chose the Margharita Primo for $16, which is a 12" pie with burrata, basil marinated heirloom tomatoes and olive oil. All of the toppings were in the center and it left a good 2-3 inches of the perimeter of the pizza with nothing but crust, not even seasoning. It may have been burrata cheese but tasted looked like fresh mozzarella. My main gripe were the tomatoes. I pictured large slices of heirloom tomatoes but they were heirloom cherry tomatoes which were challenging to eat, because as soon as you picked up a slice they rolled off. I wasn't a fan.
