You should plan a trip around eating here. This is the best Pimento Cheese I have ever had. The Original burger is a masterpiece. The flavors here just make me happy. Flawless service from Jason. To enjoy heaven have a Bloody Mary.

Price Fixe menu - $60 per person for meals before tax or tip or drinks.
It was recommended by friends and there were 6 of us.
Service was excellent, ambiance was fair.
Bathrooms were in need of service and didn't fit what I would have expected.
Chipped places in the sink, plastic covered sink that didn't work.

Again, we are practical eaters and enjoy good food, but we not "foodies".
This place seemed highly overrated for their food.

As for our food:
Mushroom and Torte -highly spice, lacking real natural taste.
Waterkist BLT salad - Wonderful! this was great.
Sausage - very good.

Harissa Rubbed fresh fish - THis was flounder in our case, and all the taste relied on the Harissa spice. Bonefish grill does better.
Filet Mignon - Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes were oddly seasoned and not to our taste.
Duck breast - cooked appropriately (medium), but has absolutely zero taste in the duck. The blackberry glaze was missing and Gnocchi Ricotta was chewy.

Desserts:
Creme brulee - very tasty and very small. Typical brule you can get anywhere.
mascarpone CheeseCake - extremely tasty but extremely dense to cut through.

Also, ironically, we waited in the tasting room which boasted of being able to fix just about and drink you would want. Well, except for anything with lemonade, apparently...

We have had family visiting us from New York for the last week, and dining out a lot. As big fans of food, we have tried various restaurants but decided to save the best for last. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! Ryan was great, and the passion he used while describing the dishes on the menu made us feel like he was the one that wrote the menu himself!! The presentation of food and drinks was top notch. I can’t wait to go back!! Hopefully we get Ryan too, but of not, the other staff was great too. Really helpful and knowledgeable. This is passion from the servers and great leadership from the management staff.

By far the best dining experience I’ve had not only in Orlando, but all of Florida. Every course that our table had was EXQUISITE. The flavors were delightfully rich and unique with the freshest of ingredients, impeccably prepared. Foie Gras, Duck, Mushroom & Gruyere Torte, Pork Chop, cheesecake, bread pudding, homemade Gelato all outstanding. Conner the waiter knows everything on the menu in detail and had great suggestions and wine pairings. A+ !!! RUN to this restaurant!

My husband and I wanted to do something extra special for our wedding and reception. Our wedding was in March, 2018 and we wanted to have the ceremony and small reception/dinner in the Wine Cellar private dining room. At the beginning of August, 2017, we stopped in and spoke to Matthew. Since it was about 6 months in advance, he assured us there would be no problems. But, since we wanted to do the weeding ceremony in the room, he would have to get an “ok” from the owners. This was on a Monday and we were told they would be speaking with the owners later that week, since they were on vacation. Matthew told us we should get an answer by the following Monday. After the tour and pricing of what the event would cost, we were both very excited. We called back Monday and spoke with Alicia who told us she would be taking with the owners that evening and she would have an answer for us first thing the next day. We spent the next 4 MONTHS getting this run around. My Husband called and went to the restaurant in person several times speaking with both Matthew and Alicia several times and he kept getting the same line over and over again.....”we have to check with the owners to make sure it’s ok. We’ll be talking with them tonight (or later this week) and we’ll have answer for you than. But don’t worry, it should be fine”. Each time we spoke to them, we asked them to call us and we made sure they had both of our phone numbers. They never called or reached out to us one time. We always called them or stopped by to inquire if we got the “ok”. Fortunately we had a “Plan B” and things went wonderful with the wedding and reception. But we will never be so foolish as to trust the staff of The Chef’s Table again.
