In my opinion, Ulele is more than a restaurant. It's a place to try new cuisine you may have never thought of while feeling good about what you're eating. Their fanastic menu is full of locally grown and/or sustained ingredients. Ulele sits next to the Hillsborough River in beautiful Waterfront Park and offers indoor and outdoor seating. On a busy weekend or holiday, you're sure to find a bit of a wait but it is totally worth it. Plus, that just gives you a chance to take a stroll down Tampa's Riverwalk or rent paddle board while you wait. Ulele has incredibly knowledgeable staff, delicious food and beautiful scenery. What more could you ask for?

My favorite item are the charbroiled oysters. A must order. The craft beers are wonderful as well. A really fun place for friends and family both inside and out.

We decided to pop in for an early lunch while walking along the river and thankfully they had a table to seat us right away. I had the charbroiled oysters and the lobster roll (at the recommendation of the waitress) and I loved them both. The lobster roll was better than any that I've ever had (even in New England, where I've had the best lobster). Others had burgers and were completely satisfied, even though they had to eat it them as an open face sandwich because it was so big they couldn't pick it up and take a bite without dislocating their jaws. P.S. my husband usually will not eat coleslaw, but this one he did, and liked it.

I cannot imagine anything less than 5 stars for this incredible restaurant. They get absolutely everything right from the food, service, location and especially the atmosphere! The fairy tale displays and corn-hole boards are a home run, for kids and adults alike!

Go out of your way to stop here, you will never forget it, and certainly not regret it!

After a beautiful 4 mile walk (r/t), along the Hillsbourgh River's new broadwalk, with friends, it was convenient to stop for lunch at Ulele's. Ordered the Okra fries as an appetizer, and found them tasty. Our party ate a Shrimp po'boy, Waterworks meatloaf, Ahi tuna salad, and a specialty burger .... all delicious. Of course, to finalize the meal, we ordered the homemade ice cream ... yummy in our tummy. So much for the healthy 4 mile walk. The staff were friendly, providing fast service. Our server Andrianna, was very pleasant. Hope this helps with your first visit.
