I’m a beach/ocean snob and I will say this is the closest beach you can get to Aruba without being in Aruba. I absolutely love Siesta Beach. I have vacationed 3 times in the last 3 years there. The public parking area is way too busy, but check out some of the public access areas near the village. Much less crowded than the public parking lot area, just need to find a spot to park. Love it there

From the pure white quartz powder sugar sand and gentle pitch, to the many amenities the park at Siesta Key Beach offers, this is truly a wonderful place to bring your family. Acres and acres of open beach, there's always room to fly a kite and throw a football. The sand is so white, it never gets hot in the sun. Volleyball courts, picnic pavilions, a kids playground, two concession stands with bathrooms and a showers.

Truly remarkable..

We come to the gulf side often to get away from cold winters and visit family. We love the sand (it’s like kinetic) to build castles, bury each other in etc. the ocean was murky which is very rare but we still had so much fun swimming. Wear your sun screen and try to reapply on point! We did and still have some burnt spots here and there. We will be back for sure!

We had a great time walking on the beach here. The water was a bit to cold to swim but we did get out toes wet.
What an awesome sunset.

We always visit Siesta or Lido in the summer, but this was our first time coming during spring break. We were worried it would be too crowded to enjoy it completely, but we were wrong. Best advice is to stay somewhere walking distance to the beach AND The Village. We rented a car but wouldn’t have had to because everything was a 3 minute walk. We ate at restaurants between 3-4:00 and never had to wait for a table. We had an amazing trip!
