My husband and I were in a room on the third floor in Room 306. The resort looks like a hotel with rooms having a mini kitchen. It was a one-bedroom unit with a queen bed, small loft with twin beds that you get to with a ladder, and a love seat couch that could open into a bed right next to the bed. Since it was just the two of us, the unit was fine with plenty of closet space. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast every day. When we noticed that there wasn't a frying pan, we told the front desk clerk, and housekeeping got us a three pan set. They also didn't have a pan to cook biscuits, so we just bought some recyclable aluminum pie pans. My husband had been injured in an accident involving his knees, so the third floor unit made it harder to get to our room since there are no elevators. The remodeling was continuing on the first floor, so he just had to deal with it. The resort is right on the beach and you just have to punch in a code to go through the gate to get to the beach. Because of the construction and us visiting at the end of the month, there weren't as many people there or noise. There was some noise from the bar behind the resort early in the morning on the weekend, but you couldn't hear it as much since the bed is at the front of the unit. The mattress could have been a little softer. I ended up purchasing a foam pad to put on it to sleep on. There are washers and dryers in the area behind the office and near the pool. Since the beach was right there, we didn't use the pool very much. Road construction is still continuing on Front Beach Road right in front of the resort, just like last year. Maybe they'll finish some time this year. We didn't know the first week of May was the time for Thunder on the Beach, so on Wednesday, we started noticing a lot of motorcycles coming to town. By Friday, they were everywhere. I looks like they also have one toward the end of October, so you might want to plan around these dates for visiting Panama City Beach, unless you are a bike fan. The resort is conveniently close to restaurants and even the Walmart is just down the road. We would probably stay here again, but a ground level floor would work better for my husband.

Very nice resort. Beautiful inside. The heated pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. Let the hot water run for about 5 minutes and you will eventually have it hot enough for a shower. Other than that the resort was very nice.

Room Tip: Let the hot water run for about 5 minutes. You will eventually get hot water. Other than that the rooms were wonderful.

Very disappointed. No hot water in rooms. Pool was not vacuumed daily. Hot tub either too hot or was not working. Some people said bugs in room and air conditioning not working. Won't make this mistake again and we are owners!! And maybe free WIFI but big deal.

Casa Blanca is an old 3 star hotel not 5 stars so don't expect a plush resort. We had a studio with loft for the two of us which was adequate. Clean enough, pool clean and hot tub. Exercise room has 3 old machines pitiful. TV very small. Kitchen ok, has most everything we need. Outdoor gas grills a plus. We ate in for breakfast and most lunches. Ate out for most dinners. Located on the beach with private access to beach, it is quiet, security guard present at night, friendly front desk staff. We had a room on the third floor, no elevator, had a nice view to the side of the ocean. This place worked well for us, wouldn't call it a resort because it lacked amenities we typically see in RCI resorts.
