Go to west gate! Be Wise don't trade in here or rent here, condos are in bad shape, most of the amenities are closed down for no reason, they say because of covid, but pool loungers and chairs are close together, the condos need new furniture, have old stoves, original dishwashers that are loud and back from the 80's, refrigerators are 30 years old or older, old blenders, kitchen equipment is old and outdated, you have to check out barbecue equipment to use, they charge for laundry, use to be free. Locked the thermostats down can't go below 72 or highs of 75 degrees. Gates are broken, no security. No place for kids to play. Beds are old and need to be replaced, poor water pressure in the shower. This used to be a nice place 25 years ago.. what are they doing with our maintenance fees, certainly not updating this place...

Magic tree is trying to turn itself into an old folks home. All owners with children and grandchildren are constantly trying to give their timeshares away for free because of the harassment from management. My son was yelled at for playing with a matchbox car outside our door. The resort removed it's playground and continues to create an anti-children environment.

We own 4 weeks at Magic Tree and rent an additional 4 weeks every year during January and February. It is our home away from home and every year we are surprised with new improvements. Yes, it’s an older and smaller resort, but it is meticulously maintained. This year COVID restrictions have closed the hot tub, the exercise room, and the great movie theater that we love. However, if these restrictions had not been in place, we would have not felt safe in coming this year. We are enjoying the 90 degree pool, the fire pits, shuffle board, and outdoor ping pong while feeling perfectly safe. We have friends here in this area in larger facilities with fewer restrictions who are not feeling safe, and wish they had stayed home. Thank you Magic Tree for giving us a safe place to vacation during a time when vacations are very limited, and cause anxiety for anyone who is trying to protect themselves from contracting. COVID.
