The Courtyard Marriott Resort Hotel, Marathon, in Florida Keys is in a great location. It is bikeable to the overseas highway and Pigeon Key. Keep in mind the hefty resort fee does include bike rentals for up to two people. Not sure if this is normal practice to reduce resort fees, but we checked in after 9:30 PM and we were going to be charged a full resort fee for things we were not going to be using on the property and it did not seem reasonable since it was a late check-in. We asked Deamion at the front desk if there was anyway, he could reduce or discount the resort fee and he did accommodate us (thank you for your professionalism!). We were hardly there and at most used only the “enhanced high-speed internet”, used coins in the washer and dryer facilities, and were able to night swim and use jacuzzi until 10 pm.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by Tosharia at the front desk. She was very welcoming and she went over and beyond to make sure that we had the best stay possible. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Marathon area. I will definitely stay here again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was modern, clean, comfortable. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted at by Carlene. She made us feel welcome and made sure we knew how important it was to her to that we were happy. The breakfasts are 5 star.
