Well appointed, a pleasant surprise - a more traditional, cozy European feel in Colorado! Not over the top expensive. Great breakfast, and some nice touches like heated floors in bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

What a neat hotel! I absolutely love the step away from the traditional sterile hotel environment we are so used to here in the states. This hotel is very welcoming and the staff are very helpful! The sun room where breakfast is served is absolutely amazing- would come here for breakfast even if we weren't staying! Another nice touch is the heated floors in the bathroom- would be especially handy in the winter. Oxygen bar is very nice touch- perfect for adjusting to the altitude. We usually stay at the four season's but I think we might be staying here from now on! Also- great location, lots of dinning options in vail village , and inside the hotel!

We love the Sonnenalp for both business and pleasure. It is lovely and has a great vibe that combines European luxury with American amenities. The little touches make a huge difference, such as the heated bathroom floors and the Nespresso coffee in the rooms.

The spa and restaurants are also fabulous. While I’m is a bit pricey, it is worth it. And, rates are very competitive in the off-season.

You won’t go wrong by with this hotel.

Thank you for your stay with us. I am happy to learn that you enjoy Vail and the Sonnenalp during what is considered the slow time between winter and summer season. There is much to do and see and as you mention the rates at the Sonnenalp and at Vail's shops and restaurant are very attractive.

Thank you again.

Amazing room, fabulous staff, great visit. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Vail. The location is phenomenal and I loved the balcony. Bed was so comfortable and the bathroom is huge! I will be back!

This is the first time I’ve stayed with Sonnenalp. Would certainly come back again. Great service, international vibe, beautiful scenery. Nicely appointed rooms/suites, excellent food. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. Check it out!

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write this review.
Even during May, which is our slower part of the year, Vail is quite beautiful and makes for wonderful escape.
So glad you enjoyed it.
