The only reason, I didn't go a full 5 stars was the dated interior. Really, that's it. The food was really good, the steak was perfectly prepared to my request. If your in the mood for a good steak don't miss this place.

Haven’t been to the Winery in a few years but decided to go for our anniversary. The staff is super nice, three people asked if we were there for a special occasion. Very attentive without being intrusive. The server recommended the large porterhouse which she suggested sharing. Steak was delicious. Sides also delicious. Cocktails well poured. Overall. Service excellent, food excellent. We usually don’t spend a great deal for a dinner out, but the Winery is well worth the cost.

The entrance is appropriate with grape vine surrounding the entry area. All staff are dressed in black and white. The linen table cloth and napkins add to the decor. You are greeted by the owner who stops by your table while we are dining. The presentations of the food is outstanding. The no cell phone policy was appreciated. I had planned to wear long trousers and collared shirt but was told I could be more casual. I was disappointed to see some guests in short shorts. We need to be role models of desired dress and behavior at a classy restaurant

It’s rare I go to a restaurant where the owner is engaged and present. When we were seated the owner checked in on us 3 different times. He was warm and happy to chat, cleared our plates and happily answered questions plus made suggestions on local going ons.
We ordered the Scottish salmon and the rib eye. Both were tasty. The mushrooms on the rib eye were delicious and included sides were plentiful. I ordered a Paradise Peach martini and learned (from the owner) there is a city called Paradise, they grow peaches and they have a Peach festival. The martini was excellent.
A wonderful gem of a restaurant while on a road trip through Grand Junction. The decor is old world charm boosted by wonderful customer service.
