Wonderful stay. Wonderful staff. Good food and drink. Clean rooms. We will stay there again. We left our gun under the mattress, forgot it until 2 hours on the road, called the staff, they went and got it, and placed it in the safe until we returned. Very honest staff. breath of fresh air on humanity

Room Tip: As usual, stay away from ice machines, elevators, stairways and washing machines for added quietness.

Visit this hotel for two nights in July. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and provided great customer service. The hotel water park was great. My kids loved the water slide and the hot tub was very spacious. Hotel was clean, great breakfast, and right out the door was the tram to the Glenwood springs adventure park!

Great location for amusement park on top of mountain. You get a discount for the park if you stay here. Good access to rafting and biking. Pizza shop in lobby is handy for those long days out on the trail and you don't want to go out.

Easy drive to hanging lake (8 miles or so). Get to the lake early 7:30 is crowds crowds

We spent just one night here but it was cool. The front desk manager was super friendly and really made us feel welcome. It was nice that the lift to the amusement park was mere steps away from the hotel's front door. They made sure that we had parking even tho the lot is often full from visitors to the amusement park.
The room was clean and beds comfy enough. Good pillows.
The one and only downside I can even say is that there was only one old elevator and it was slow!
Other than that I recommend this place. It also had beautiful views. We would totally come back.

We stayed one night at the hotel. Conveniently located to all attractions including the hot spring tubs and pool along the river. You can buy discounted tickets at the hotel and take literally a 2 minute drive to the Springs. The hotel has a nice in door pool with slide geared more towards kids 12 and under. Room was clean but dated. Staff was excellent and tended to every need. Continental breakfast included and it was good. Hotel is located 9 minute drive east on i70 to "Hanging lake" a incredible mountain lake that is a two mile hike in and up some treacherous terrain. Hike is difficult, but manageable. Get to the park before 7 or you will wait to get in. We were surprised to see Aspen ski resort only 45 miles SE from hotel on relatively open roads, you could almost stay at hotel and commute to Aspen for a day of skiing and return at night to the hot springs. No real dining at hotel other than a little deli. Gondola is right at base of hotel to take you up on mountain to a park, but we did not use. The hot spring tubs are hot and for July it was not comfortable to go in a 105 degree tub when outside was 90 plus degrees. Gorgeous view sitting by pool. Glenwood is a nice little town. Good place to stay and use to explore the surroundings, but geared more for the family with 12 and under kids. Picture of hanging lake attached
