1. The hotel’s room service and room condition were bad. 2. Crowd shouting & singing in the courtyard until 1am. 3. The shower water’s temperature was not steady.. sometime too hot or too cold. 4. Refused to provide 2nd blanket for a suite room.

Make sure when you stay at a major brand hotel attempting to purchase a certain level of experience for your trip to ask whether it is a franchised corporation. If you don’t you will go through hell and back and spend a fortune in the process. Not to mention the embarrassment and humility you will experience with family and friends. Unfortunately it was my husband’s long awaited funeral that was my nightmare adventure ride.

Worst possible experience at this Hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Ana Orange County Airport. Came here with my 4 and 2 year old toddler for what was suppose to be a family getaway to Disneyland and local attractions. What turned out to be a great getaway became a nightmare of a stay.

Checked in with credit charge and over 128,000 Hilton Diamond Honors points. Upgraded by horrible front desk staff without asking or telling us. Got charged over 1600 USD and points just was disregarded. Then from the first night to the last night rooms were freezing cold and the thermostat in the room is non-functional. We changed the thermostat setting to 90 degrees and it was ice cold. The so called engineer man said the thermostat doesn't do anything and its more for show. Spoke to Management Jonathan who didn't care and made excuses of why it was cold. Offered a desk heater to help which was a joke. Asked for GM Valarie who was MIA all week and every time we asked for the GM, all we got was excuses after excuses why she wasn't there. My wife was so disgusted with the lack of hospitality and service, she asked me never to take them to another Hilton. This is really sad as I have been a loyal Hilton Diamond Honors member for many years. If you want to be treated with no respect, no hospitality, the runaround from the management, and over charged for full price and no one help you resolve your erroneous charges, stay here. Eventually the customer service at Hilton Diamond Desk refunded the erroneous charge but I felt like I had to jump through hoops. Oh this hotel likes to make sure you know their lame policy for breakfast and cocktail mixer hour. They give you a cheap business card like punch card and remind you that if you lose it the cost to replace is $20 per card. They remind it to you verbally when checking in and its written on the card like you are a cheap guest in a 1 star motel. For an Embassy Suites, they sure do make you feel like your in a cheap motel.

Guests with families especially, beware, don't stay here or you will regret it like we did.

Parking manager who is not employed by the hotel was super cool and nice.

Room tip: Don't change rooms if you are using points, your points will get voided and you'll be charged full price.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past. The entire staff were friendly and smiling, from the front desk to the parking lot attendant to the housekeeper and even the person cleaning the dining room after breakfast. The foyer was spotless and shiny, as was our room.

1) I opted for non daily housekeeping, however did not have enough toilet paper. When I requested from housekeeping, they told me they have a shortage- SERIOUSLY!!!!
2) MANAGER RECEPTION- self made popcorn bags and leftover spiced oranges from breakfast?
3) bought 2 bottles of water - $9.00???? no 1- a rip off....#2, I'm supposedly an honor member
4)I. Arrived at 1000pm- no shuttle due to covid. Requested if there was anywhere I could order food ( they ALL closed at 9 or 10. Embassy suites kitchen closed at 10- WAS told by Kristina " too bad"
5) only compliment I can give to is FIDEL Castro- who had sympathy( due family emergency, I had 1 bag of pretzels all day) he was nice enough to take me to get something to eat- bless his soul)
6)This is not a Hilton, but- a minus motel 6. Obviously, the general manager is riding on old reputation of old/ other embassy suites,is too busy with who knows what,or doesn't have pulse on trave.ling consumers
