Staff was great; very friendly & very helpful. The common areas of the Hotel are nicely appointed & the location is really good.
The rooms however; not 1 drawer to be found to put your stuff away. Not sure who designed the rooms but they didn't consider functionality in the design. There is plenty of space to have gotten 1 or 2 drawers in the mix, they simply didn't do it so you basically have to live out of your suitcase or throw your stuff on the floor. Too bad...
Chrissoula was an amazing server! Best service we’ve had since we’ve been here. Will definitely recommend the restaurant and bar, food is amazing and drinks hit the spot. Will definitely be back to stay again!! The hotel is also super clean and spotless!
Pretty standard Marriott in need of renovation. No upgrade availability. No water offered at check-in. Street side rooms are quite noisy. Several blocks walk to any old town destinations. “That being said”. (My new favorite qualifier), if you can’t afford a really nice hotel, this is the one for you.
Fantastic hotel with beautiful renovations. Close and convenient to nearby shopping, food and entertainment. By far my favorite place to stay when I’m in the Pasadena area. Rooms and staff are exceptional. A special shot out to Chrissoula and America who go over and beyond to make guests feel special. It’s people like them who add greatness to the experience with their superb service and genuine love for people.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for Old Town, Rose Parade and Rose Bowl. Friendly staff but very little service. The hotel upchages for special events (as expected) but without the service to match. Our family of four woke the first morning to discover that there were only two towels in the room. When I tried to call the front desk to ask for more I discovered the phone was just a prop. It had no cord running to it. I had to dress and run down to the desk to get more.
After being out all that day (Rose Bowl), we came back to discover that housekeeping didn’t touch our room (despite the exorbitant rate I was paying). Our trash was still full, our beds unmade and our towels still damp. When I confronted the front desk I was informed that they only provide housekeeping every other day. This was the first I heard this.
Lastly, forget trying to get anything in the bar/restaurant. They are terribly understaffed and with little service.
