The staff & campers are friendly. The sites are tight and some are filled with burrs. (watch out doggies) On Saturday, we spent most of the day at Joshua Tree National Park. This campground is a good base camp for exploring the area. The freeway is close to the campground. Also, I heard a train going by during the day & at night. Watch for wind alerts when driving to Palm Springs. Overall, I would like to come back here and city camp. :)
I enjoyed talking with the staff and other campers.
I had a good laugh seeing a public pay phone in the pool area.
I enjoyed walking the perimeter of the park.
Swimming in the pool & hanging out in the spa with the friendly campers.
Looking at all the palm trees in the park. (its calms me)
I like that there are many things to do in the area.
Overall, we would come back to this campground we had many positive experience here

Room Tip: Take you time looking for a good camping site the staff was helpful with showing us the map & were to unhook our jeep.

This park is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There was just one problem...We had a $3000 bicycle stolen and were told by the staff that it happens all the time. That people come in the park all the time and a teal grills, bikes and other belongings. We have been full time RVers for 7 years and have NEVER had a problem like this anywhere in this country or Canada. Your staff should inform guests upon arrival that there have been 'issues' so your guests can take precautions to avoid this happening to them. Knowing is part of preparing.

The staff at the Palm Springs Thousand Trails RV Resort is great. We received a warm welcome and nice information packet and orientation. While moving a large rig around in parts of the park was tight, once parked, we found the full hookup site satisfactory. Security is good at the park with a gated entry that is staffed from early in the morning to late at night. We felt safe and secure at all times, even while taking late night walks around the park.

Room Tip: Find a place to park the motorhome and wait while your partner uses your toad to drive around the park to find a good space.

This was just an overnight stop for us, but we judged Palm Springs TT to be one of the nicest. I did use the restroom and found them perfectly clean and well stocked. Parking in the campsite at night is usually a challenge for me, but the pull through was very easy.

We arrived without a reservation, having just seen the highway sign after dark,=. We were warmly welcomed, and the night ranger on duty went out of he way to be helpful, and checking to see that we got settled properly. We left the next day with a warm feeling about the place. It was pretty with all the tall date palms, and the public bathroom had separated private showers. The walls and floors were also covered with fresh new ceramic tiles. Nice place.
