The hotel is really far from everything. You need a taxi to move, there are no public transportations. The breakfast is offered with a very uncomfortable solution. You have the right to chose 1 dish and one drink from a super short list. No self service option, no fresh fruits or juices… very disappointing. Additionally we booked a room for 3 people, breakfast included, but ‘according to their policy’ the breakfast is only for two people! We asked to remove the breakfast from the next days, but ‘according to their policy’ this is not possible. Customer care is zero! I strongly suggesting to chose another hotel.

This is one of the best Courtyards I’ve stayed at. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The entire staff was warm and welcoming—exemplary service all around. Brittany at check in really help set the tone for an incredible stay. I could tell she was courteous, professional, and personable, even though the check-in process was very quick and easy. I’ll definitely be back!

Room was phenomenal, we had a junior suite 2 rooms. Very clean hotel in a great neighborhood. Felt very safe here, very much enjoyed our experience! Underground parking was hassle free. A little out of the way but thats what cars are for. Will definitely stay again when in LA next

I’mmgiving then one star because of an unresolved dispute and the fault was wholly Marriott’s and which they readily admit. But they would not do the right thing. I was told during booking with their reservations desk that I could book based on dollars and then before check out ask the front desk to switch to payment by Marriott points. I called reservations to ask this specific question because the points I had coming to my Bonvoy account was not in the account yet but I was due to check in to the hotel the next day. The call was recorded and what the reservations agent told me could be verified. After transferring 50,000+ pts to my account before check-out, the front desk would not honor the points for payment. They directed me to the resolution line. They delayed resolution for 1 week just to tell me sorry the reservations agent gave me wrong information. I asked repeatedly if they we able to listen to the recorded call. Again they apologized that the reservations agent gave me wrong information. That means they confirmed what I said I was told was in fact told to me. Instead of letting me then pay for the room with my points they charged my credit card. As a concession, they offered to give me a measly $200 Marriott gift card - to use at a Marriott. Why would I even go to a Marriott again? If they genuine they should have offered a Visa card, as a way to reimburse me for the charges they put on my card when the reservations agent told me I could use my points. They also offered alternatively to give me 40,000 points. That is not even the value of the room. I’ve now lowered my review to 1 star for their deceit and unprofessionalism

Room tip: Don’t believe the reservations desk. They will tell you anything to get your booking. Then the front desk will not honor anything promised.

A perfect choice for a hotel in Monterey Park (MP). Unexpected good quality in this brand of hotels. the lobby looks modern and fresh. our room was confortable with a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a Toto washer (build in bidet) which was another welcomed surprise. The staff service was outstanding, we had 2 encounters and both were attended promptly and with a smile. Excellent experience and will not doubt to stay in the hotel again.

Room tip: anything you need for your stay, call the front desk. They are superb at customer service

Not ready for groups.
We were quoted special rate for rooms. Booked through the hotel and was told they did not have the room type I needed...two double beds...not a hard request. Was told they did not have any left. I called 2 months before our trip and they didn't have any more doubles? Asked how many had registered from the group. I was told I was the second person.
So I said, you're going to have to more rooms because I knew of at least six more people that were going to need doubles.
After calling our tour director, they were told by the hotel tha many of the staff that opened this new hotel have now left the hotel. I thought that was a red flag. Three more people called and complained to the hotel about the rooms...finally we recieved our rooms.
At the hotel, registration desk was not well attended.
No breakfast! Had to use a snack counter...five to ten minutes per person.
Bar closed at 9pm. We didn't get back until 9pm. Allowed us one drink.
Bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday. Ummm?
Rooms. No drawers for mor than one person
No rack for luggage.
Bathroom door was a barn slide door that dud not close...one inch gap on both ends of door. No privacy.
Plenty of space under TV toput drawers in.
Floors not cleaned well.
Room not cleaned until after 8pm, after we returned from being gone all day. Couldn't use our room
Tried to do grab and go lunch...had only one sandwich left at 11 am. Asked when more were coming, was told that was our allotment for the day. WEIRD!.
