I enjoyed stepping into an after party for Citizen Kane in the graceful years before 1929 ;). Great location catty corner to ASU LA campus, the former heart of the Hearst empire.

Walked everyday to LA Live. It took about 10 minutes. The Diner is amazing great breakfast and the roof too Resturant is a vibe.

This is an exceptional hotel. There are so many details that contribute to a luxurious and fun experience (beautifully appointed, super clean and quiet rooms, outstanding views, great location, friendly, helpful staff, even free bicycles!) Unfortunately, I left my cellphone charger in my room when I checked out and did not receive a call back when I called to ask about it a few hours later. Up until losing my expensive charger, I had a memorably positive stay.

I left my diamond earring in my hotel. I contacted them the night I returned home and realized I forgot them, and even described exactly where I left them. They never found them, which means someone at the hotel, most likely house keeping stole them and never turned them in. They know who cleaned my room so I am super bummed they could not get to the bottom of this.
