I prepaid for a hotel room at the Los Angeles Athletic Club through Capital One travel. When I checked in and checked out, they assured me I would not be charged for the room. A full charge for the room appeared on my card two days later. I called the front desk manager, they could not help me and asked me to email corporate sales. Sales responded (after many days and a second request for them to respond) and said the front desk manager would have to handle this. I then got my credit card company involved, and the credit card company cannot resolve the dispute because the hotel would not cooperate with them by authorizing a refund of the miles or by providing an invoice for the second charge. After three weeks this is still not resolved. Mistakes happen, but I've never experienced worse customer service. Buyer beware.
