Clean establishment with comfortable beds for a rest stop on the way to destination.. Convenient location for freeway access.
Soundproofing was good since there was ambient noise outside from street.
We got an upstairs room not facing the street so it was quiet
This was booked as a weekend getaway/work trip. The first thing on checkin was the front desk wanting to charge for parking...never mind the website says free parking. All the staff could do was argue. They finally waived the charge. I get to the room and discover there is no wifi. I was told they were having trouble with their provider. I ended up tethering my laptop to my phone. I haven't seen the bill yet but expect this probably cost me $30-40. Again nothing but excuses from management. The water pressure in the shower was lame. And the last morning I was awakened by a work crew resurfacing the parking lot. Obviously I won't be staying here again and I would recommend anyone considering this property look elsewhere.
Old and tired but clean and comfy beds, has a fridge but nothing in it, a small microwave, a filtered coffee machine, loads of off street parking. A pool (albeit empty for maintenance but it’s too cold to swim at the moment anyway..the price includes a simple breaky, good customer service too
Pluses:
1. It is clean
2. Breakfast had lots of choices, pretty darn good
3. Comfortable bed
4. Lots of good towels and pillows
5. Nicely painted exterior
Minuses:
1. Inadequate lighting with difficult to locate switches
2. Room light on timers, so they turn off if just relaxing in one spot
3. Broken door lock
4. Worn, chipped furniture
5. Hardest, most uncomfortable chair and loveseat!!! Can feel the metal on the bottom and back when you sit down!!!
6. Neighborhood is sketchy
7. Insufficient electrical outlets
8. Broken hair dryer
The front desk crew is very nice and pleasant but the room and the hotel in general leaves a lot to be desired. The beds were comfortable but the room is a little frightful. This place looks more like a motel that an Inn and Suite. Also, parking is only free for one car, any additional cars are charged a $5 per night fee to park on site but you can park for free on the street.
