Great quick overnight stay + breakfast

We were processed quickly and given a clean room which adequately met all of our needs. Breakfast included waffles eggs sausage pastries cereal and juice all of which were ample. This hotel really shines when it comes to guest services and Dita was a wonderful host. We enjoyed talking to her about our home in Portland OR and she made us feel like valued guests! THANK YOU DITA! Also the shuttle service to Long Beach Airport was a huge Plus.

This place deserves a minus 10. Room smelled of marijuana or cigarette smoke. The bathroom was very outdated, we walked up to piles of garbage from a Pizza restaurant next door, to the right of our room was another pile of garbage I have pictures to prove. A homeless man was taking a bath with a hose. The hotel is overpriced and not worth it. Definitely not worth what you pay. Will never stay at another Quality Inn. We were going to a wedding and asked to check in early, front desk said they didn't have the request. Maybe that's why we got the worst room, the front desk Clerk a black man was not friendly at all!!

Room tip: Do not take lower level by Pizza restaurant. Piles of garbaGE

DON"T STAY HERE, Equivalent to a Motel - Bug infested rooms, unprofessional staff, limited parking, torn up rooms, and old/outdated pool. Had to change rooms because of bugs. Got into the new room and immediately saw bugs on the wall shown in the picture. There were about 7-10 of those flying around in my "new updated room," which they charged me $10 for a room "upgrade." You're literally handed Free Drink Coupons from a bar as your tickets for their free breakfast. Never would I try their food and I am never going to another Quality Inn. Opposite of quality. The entire building and each room needs a complete renovation!

Room tip: Check room for bugs!

If this is the Quality Inn that is located at "Signal Hill" in CA, I suggest you pay cash and do not present your credit card. Need I say more? Our credit card was hacked, it was a big hassle once we returned from our cruise one week later, only to find out that there was almost $700 in charges to J Crew the day after we cruised out, and the credit card number was sold(?) to other people in the US. Other attempts were then made & turned down. Credit card company recognized immediately based on computer IP number that this was not our charges, they closed the credit card down. Card company is investigating as they now have the IP number of buyer of merchandise from J Crew.

The front desk very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and it was quiet. This was a one night stay before cruise. Wifi works great. The breakfast was good. They also had newspapers. Needs better lighting in the bathroom. We drove over from Arizona.

We needed a place to stay for one night before our cruise. Unfortunately, it was the same weekend as the Grand Prix and the pickings were slim. With tax, we ended up paying roughly $250, plus they asked for our cc number to charge (and later refund) a security deposit. I have NEVER had to pay a security deposit for a hotel room.

Before I go into the cons, I would like to point out that the front desk staff (when they were there) were very polite and helpful. They even made a couple copies for me. That was where the "good" ends.

The dark, patterned carpet had a huge, visible stain, so I cringe to think of all the stuff that was there that I couldn't see. The toiletries were horrible and there was nowhere to put the soap either by the sink or in the shower. There were extremely loud guests right outside our room for at least an hour, maybe more. At least they all quieted down by 10 or 11. The breakfast was only okay. Not the worst hotel breakfast I've had, but nothing special. At one point, they were out of coffee and there was absolutely NO ONE paying attention, even when I was calling out to get someone's attention.
