good for one night stay before cruise.

The front desk very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and it was quiet. This was a one night stay before cruise. Wifi works great. The breakfast was good. They also had newspapers. Needs better lighting in the bathroom. We drove over from Arizona.

We needed a place to stay for one night before our cruise. Unfortunately, it was the same weekend as the Grand Prix and the pickings were slim. With tax, we ended up paying roughly $250, plus they asked for our cc number to charge (and later refund) a security deposit. I have NEVER had to pay a security deposit for a hotel room.

Before I go into the cons, I would like to point out that the front desk staff (when they were there) were very polite and helpful. They even made a couple copies for me. That was where the "good" ends.

The dark, patterned carpet had a huge, visible stain, so I cringe to think of all the stuff that was there that I couldn't see. The toiletries were horrible and there was nowhere to put the soap either by the sink or in the shower. There were extremely loud guests right outside our room for at least an hour, maybe more. At least they all quieted down by 10 or 11. The breakfast was only okay. Not the worst hotel breakfast I've had, but nothing special. At one point, they were out of coffee and there was absolutely NO ONE paying attention, even when I was calling out to get someone's attention.

I called to make sure we could get shuttle service to and from cruise ship docks for 5 couples was told no problem so I booked 5 rooms total of 10 people got use to the docks on but when we returned we waited for 2 hours and no show I called she said they would be right there again no show so we hired another shuttle to take us back to the hotel told the desk clerks this was unexcapable she could care less. So they will take your money and get you there but not back.

Let me just say a big thank you to carlos and the shuttle driver. They picked me up from the airport, so nice on the phone (you can tell he goes above and beyond for his job) and helped me out. The driver was talkative and engaging and helped me with my bags. Carlos was able to check me in early and it was just nice, made me feel like I was an old regular. I love good service like this.

The room is really large and I couldn't beat the rate. It's a little dated, nothing fancy, but I enjoyed my stay. The pizza place right next door was aammmaazzinngggg. So I will definitely come back!

The location is good. Accessible to many close attractions. However the pool, hot tub, the tools, bathrooms, carpets, bed sheets, pillows were all extremely dirty. Customer service was not great. Front desk staff was not friendly. Upon arriving the front lobby was closed. The employee must have been taking their break. Waited about 20 minuted then was let it tocheck in. The employee smelled of cigarettes and alcohol. Was given a parking "permit" basically a piece of paper that had some numbers but onthe other side it had a phone message that was not intended for us. Careless service. Breakfast is complementary and all pastries were old all three days. Waffle maker never had the mix available had to ask each and every day and wait for some time for it to be brought down. There is no attention to detail or cleaning.

The place was clean, comfortable and close to LB A/P and the cruise terminals, which we used. The area is in a slightly Hispanic area, but the Mexican restarants are good and authentic. The small pool is not to be used--it's yucky but then it was Oct.

Room tip: All rooms appear to be away from traffic noise.
