Everything about our stay was perfect. From the location of the Inn (the back of the Inn borders a creek and is just a couple of miles south of the southern YNP entrance) to the unbelievable level of excellent service, I can't think of any aspect of the property that needs improvement. Pamela has thought of everything to make her guests feel pampered. There are only 3 guest rooms, with a max of 2 guests per room, so this makes the perfect getaway for couples. Pamela is the perfect host, more than willing to answer questions and share her knowledge of the what's and where's of the Park, but never to the point of "smothering" her guests. Each day started with a fresh cooked breakfast before we tackled the park. After a day of tackling the trails, a hot shower and library of any movie DVD one can think of were the perfect way to end the day. Would highly recommend!

Lovely setting beautiful bedrooms and a very nice breakfast await you at the big creek inn. Pamela your host has a wealth of information about Yosemite and made our Hilda’s very special by giving us invaluable advice regarding visiting Yosemite National Park. Our bedroom the Mariposa room was beautiful very cosy very comfortable. And you have the use of a kitchen area which was really nice for a early morning cup of tea or late night drink very well thought out . Loved our stay Pamela than you so much.

Yosemite has been one of the highlights of our road trip so, made all the more amazing and enjoyable for our stay at The Big Creek Inn in Fish Camp.

An absolutely stunning location, fantastic room and a wonderful host. We were made at home instantly, given advice and sent off every morning with a hearty breakfast. We couldn’t have wished for anymore, I would highly recommend it.

We have recently returned from our short week Easter break in California where we stayed 3 nights at the wonderful Big Creek Inn in the Mariposa Room. The room is so incredibly comfortable with a beautiful huge bed and high end linens and furnishings. We have stayed in hotels, apartments and b&bs around the world and in terms of bed & breakfasts, this is the most comfortable and the most sense of space we've ever had. The Mariposa room looks out onto woodland at the back of the property and you have cute Stellar's Jays landing on your deck. If you love nature, but appreciate comfort, this is the ideal place for you. The bathroom is great and everything is immaculately clean. Pam is there to give you advice if you need it but she has struck the perfect balance of understanding the space needed whilst providing the relaxed, personalised service that a b&b provides. Pam provides varied cooked breakfasts each day, along with cereal (yes thank you!) The property is only 10 minutes drive from the South entrance to Yosemite. There is a small corner store in Fish Camp (1 minute up the road) that makes really good sandwiches if you want to pack a sandwich to go for your day in the park. In the evenings, we ate twice at the Tenaya Resort, just one mile up the road and we also drove into Oakhurst (25 minutes) for a dinner as well. There are plenty of options in Oakhurst and also at the Big Trees Inn at Wawona for dinner (which is also close) but if you are feeling lazy after a big day at the park, the Tenaya up the road is so simple and easy to get parking for a casual bar dinner. Pam, if you are reading this, we hope that Indy is feeling better and thank you for a really great relaxing stay.

Room Tip: Mariposa is spacious, at back of property overlooking trees and creek
