The beauty of this hotel is the comfort to ski in and out of the hotel. This Hilton basically has it all, from equipment rental to valet and gondola right at your doorstep it does not get any more comfortable than that!
Location is right at the bottom of the Niseko side of the mountain which makes it really easy to ski in and out.
The hotel has a good buffet with a selection of western style and Japanese options as well as a number of restaurants which gives lots of alternatives, the village is also a short (I mean short) walk from the hotel wich has some great food options and shops.
It also provides a free shuttle service to the town which is very handy to add a bit of variety and explore the restaurants and shops there.
The onsen is a real treat especially après-ski, just make sure you are fully aware of the rules so you have the best experience. Try to avoid peak times as it gets really busy and despite the gender separation be aware that there are kids so if you are looking for a more relaxing and quiet experience is best to avoid the crowds.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a striking circular foyer which has a cafe with a fireplace in the center which is beautiful however I found it incredibly cold as there are a number of doors...The beauty of this hotel is the comfort to ski in and out of the hotel. There is a little convenience store which has most things at a surprisingly affordable prices so that was really handy.
The big opportunity area for me where the rooms, they are all the same and whilst the beds are very comfy (guaranteed a good night sleep) the bathrooms could definitely do with an upgrade they are like being on a ship, very plastic like and small. The view was stunning tho.
Overall a good hotel but comfort comes at a high price!More
