Lovely for taking long walks, observing crashing waves and starry nights. Long boardwalk makes walking easy and very pleasant. Little ground squirrels and birds of all sorts will greet you.

Park near Cambria, climb down the shore side, and settle in for a blast culling rocks. You can sort for colors, sizes, white moonstones, or a mix. You can choose tiny or large, round or flat. WARNING : flies will try to carry you away so be sure to cover yourself with repellant. Bring water to drink. Bring a canvas bag to collect your treasures cause your pockets are too small.

The boardwalk is most inviting for a long stroll and rewards the traveler with wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean and serene, uncrowded beaches.

Don't get me wrong - this beach is incredibly beautiful. The waves are impressive, the vistas breathtaking, and the 'boardwalk' along the upper cliffs of the beach offers unexpected twists and turns. The big green lawn with picnic tables is a perfect stop to set up a blanket, light up your legal weed, and watch the sun set.

The beach is covered in tiny pebbles - not too ideal for walking on and certainly not good for lounging on a towel in the sunshine.

The main drag of Cambria is about a 5 minute drive - I do not recommend walking to this beach from town.

The beach is beautiful. People really take care of this beach, no trash, super clean as it should be. Quiet, with views for miles, cool crisp breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the shore, LOVELY!!!
