Bit disappointed with the restaurant which does Greek, Yogoslavian (sic), Turkish and Italian. Doesn't really seem to know what it is. Meze OK but nothing exceptional on the plate and no calamares; lamb was over ooked on the main course and one small piece of feta on the salad. When we tried to pay they refused all credit cards and insisted on German debit cards or cash. Luckily ee had cash with us after a holiday in Denmark with pocketsful of Danish kroner...... just a local place but several tables had people passing through from other countries. Hope they had cash.....

New year's in this small town means that most places are closed for the public holiday, but we found this little gem not far from our accommodation. We enjoyed the cordon blue and the mixed grill platter (6 different meat dish). The dishes were excellent and very large! Great value for money, the local red house wine was also very good. Although we don't speak German and the restaurant staff don't speak a lot of English, we felt welcome, at home and cared for.

One note for foreigners, they only accept cash or German debit cards. We could not pay with our European debit cards, but given that the food were so cheap, this wasn't so bad given the bill was so cheap.
