Had a lovely lunch in the hotel restaurant as part of our Webjet tour. Very elegant foyer and dining room with lots of marble and very attentive staff. We bought a beautiful hand made owl from the gift shop, exquisite quality, it will look good in my collection. Worth a visit or a stay.

The hotel has great potential with good architecture and a great location.
However, it is completely wanting.
Housekeeping staff watches TV whilst the standards fall. Bathroom pots, tub, walls, corners are dirty.
Towels smell of ”riverside”
Maintenance is poor- Fittings and fixtures are worn out and shoddily stuck together.
Food and beverage barely holds its head above water with few listings and no night offerings.
Reception staff is present and professional.

Our room was in a corridor next to a corporate event with a lot of noise from telephones, interviews and buffets being served. We were told that there would be wi-fi but it did not work and there would have been a charge for it if it had. The room was clean with pleasant gardens and patio and a pleasant entrance. It was very busy during our stay with a coach party arriving on the second day. The food was disappointing and in the restaurant taped music played continuously on a loop. The hotel was out of town with no tuk tuks for hire.

The hotel is located near to man-made lake side of Ajmer. It is almost centrally located to the touristy areas of Ajmer. The hotel is a heritage property and has beautiful interiors.

The staff is friendly and sincere. The hotel follows a no-TIp policy which is commendable.

Food is great and the chef is extremely polite and accommodating to customize dishes especially for breakfast. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful. It is a fine dining one.

Rooms are big and usually with bathtub fitted in bathrooms. The room interior is good generally.

Room tip: Go for it!

We stayed here as family for 2 Nights during the new year eve. This continues to be a good place to stay in Ajmer, though being an old property is a little outdated in terms of room interiors. Need a little upliftment, as more contemporary hotels have opened in the city. No major issues though. Service continues to be very good which we experienced during breakfast, the team was going out of the way to look into the needs of guests. While the breakfast spread is limited, but the service was really great. I would recommend to stay here for its old charm, but there are some better and expensive options in the city as well.
