Visited in Aug 2015 for a night stay. Very good property but poorly maintained. Not only the housekeeping needs to be focused upon but the buffet breakfast also needs attention. Quality of food at Dinner was however good.

The rooms are out dated and not maintained. Had taken a Heritage Room. Wall paints chipped. Artwork not maintained. Pest infestation etc. Service is not guest centric - on two occasions management rules were sited for denying. One was as simple as asking for ice for an hamper in the morning.

Stay somewhere else if you can.

locationally..easily approachable. Property- decent, and constructed on hillock overlooking quite some part of city. Rooms..huge..had opted for Meenakshi Suite..!!
no Non-veg, no hard Drinks permitted, hence travelers desirous of these two elements...be aware...before you check in. rates reasonable. overall 3* rated.

Room Tip: suite rooms...balcony overlook the city

Went and see almost all rooms of this property. Each of them had this stale smell. The manager took us to the most premium class of suites which also had the same problem. The walls have stains....the linen looks dirty and used. The dingy smell is the worst part. The space is so huge that its a shame there are not means getting allocated to maintain that property well.

It's a beautiful building if maintained will be worthy of a heritage exhibit. Unfortunately the maintenance is bad. Service is atrocious. What a pity for a beautiful structure lived and built carefully by the raj of the merwar region. I would encourage the management to invest and maintain this building before it goes into shambles and we lose out on an exquisite history.
