I was vising very first time any Dargah and the visit was worth. As recommended by other travelers, I took flowers for offering and kept my footwear there. After entering one of the Imam convinced me to pay some bucks and I dealt smartly. The huge crowed and make a perfect sufi atmosphere. This place has really a vibration that will sooth you. One should must spend some hours by sitting and feeling the ambience.

This is a most and must visit place in Ajmer. Persons come in large number from within and outside the country. It therefor remains crowded most of the time. It is recommended to take help of a guide from the Dargah for smooth visit and know the history.

I visited the place on OCTOBER, 2015.

Not qualified to comment on the place.

Its an amazing place to be in. The Shrine of the greatest Saint in Islamic history known as the Badshah of Asia Khawaja Baba (Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti).

Do's:
1) Its a religious place for the muslims, it is mandatory to be pure to enter here, wearing skull caps for guys and for females properly covered.

2) Pray from heart to Allah from here inShALLAH you will be heard.

3) You will get a religious vibe, a very different one a different serenity will touch you, most importantly, the whole environment is so different.

4) Try to be well behaved.

5) I stayed a night whole night at the Shrine, the doors of the Dragah is closed at around 11 am and remains closed till fazr prayer or a little before that, but at night you will get a chilled spiritual feeling,

6) Stay polite and humble.

7) I loved praying at the Shahjahani Masjid. It feels different.

DO NOT:
1) Give sijdah, it is only for Allah.

2) Do not misbehave.

3) Do not talk ill about the shrine for certain things that happens there such as some khadims asking for money etc, because the great saint only gave for humanity he doesnt need anything from us.

4) Women cover yourself properly and men also take proper clothing measures.

I hope Allah takes me there again, I am a muslim but i have seen a lot of non muslims visit the place, there has to be something or else why so many people go there, believe is a very strong things, it can make and break things for you. It is said that He is still alive there and listening to ppl and praying to Allah, the great humans who are above humans never dies.

Beautiful place . Its a mosque for muslim prayers but people of all religions have faith and visit the same

Lot of shops and its a good walk how ever be carefull of pick pockets and also the people around they will follow u till the dargah and offer ur prayer and then ask for money also i would suggest to give all the donation in the donation box and not to the people standing and offering different prayers etc

Ajmer Sharif is beautiful and a great place to visit when in town but I got tired of being swindled out of money at every step. People kept asking for money in return for blessings and it just reiterated my atheism.
