I must admit that when I was looking up option for our Gulmarg stay , this camp did not strike me till almost the last moment . I was travelling with my mother and as luck would have it I asked her randomly if she would want to camp - she was super excited and that 's it , I went ahead and booked . And am I glad I did ! First the location - it's much out of the 'main town' area but then gulmarg 's main town is just a touristy trap with the local market not really worth it . This camp site is just by a river , and the views from here are simply breath taking . I can't really describe them in words , please do look at the attached photos . The tents itself , they are much more than basic. They are perfectly liveable , infact the mattress warmers keep you totally cozy at night . The bathroom and dress areas form part of the each of the 10 tents . Totally usable and good . A word for the staff - I found them to be excellent people , courteous and polite to a fault , and willing to engage only if you want them to . You actually should - of you are interested in also getting first person accounts of the kind of lives they lead in Kashmir . The food here is totally vegetarian , and I do have one suggestion for the owners - the cook is earnest and does a decent job . Maybe Involving more local veg cuisines like the Saag etc would make the food more interesting . Another tip for those who want a drink - better to stock up in Srinagar , the closest hotels with bars are not within walking distance and your Srinagar cab is not allowed to ply within gulmarg. The options available within the town are exorbitantly priced

Do not go by official pictures. Location is far away from main pahalgam area and very unsafe for stay. Very disappointed by the unprofessional behaviour from hotelier. Did not checked in to the hotel due to unsafe location but no refund provided. Pethatic experience

This is one of the best stays that we have ever had during our vacation. Gulmarg meadows were our first stop during our vacation and we were not at all disappointed. Staffs are very friendly, warm, welcoming and provide an amazing service. Makes u feel like home.Location was awesome. We opted to stay in tents. The location of the tents are in one of the most scenic places of Gulmarg.Amazing view. Tents were very cosy and nice. I cannot conclude this review without talking about the staffs who were there. They are the bunch of nicest people you can see who would always be ready to pamper and assist in all possible ways they can.Food was awesome and had wide options. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone. If you are looking for a different stay in Gulmarg, look nowhere else. this is the place to go.

Had a lovely time here. The location and views are amazing - in a quiet part of Gulmarg but still easily accessible. The tents were comfortable (thank god for the mattress warmers - it was much colder than we expected) and the food was simple and homely. Exceptionally warm hospitality.

This is not like simple hotel.. It is tent house in the river bank below the foothills. Tents are neatly done. It gives such a peaceful atmosphere and picturesque views. Food was also good.reasonble charge for the room and food was included in it. Those who wish for solitude and away from hustles of city.... Perfect location. Would definitely like to visit once again
