Stunning location with views over the valley.
Rooms a little outdated. Gaps in doors so heard a lot of corridor noise. Air lock in next door room water system so got woken up with almighty noise around 5am every time the water went on. Breakfast was ok only scrambled egg on offer. No poached or fried. Pool wasn't heated, steam room was lovely and Jacuzzi was nice.

Good evening Alexandra T

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent visit. I am sad to hear that not everything was up to a high standard. I would like to assure you that we will be looking into the issue with the noise from the water being turned on.

I hope this has not put you off returning back to the hotel and i hope to see you again in the near future.

A lovely hotel in a lovely setting with Mount Everest connections. Staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our 5 night visit for a wedding related stay. Rooms were warm and the bed very comfortable, and the shower was adequate. On the negative side, the wi-fi signal was weak in our room and the buffet breakfast choice was unexceptional, although the cooked breakfast was very good.

Room tip: Ask for a room in the 'old' part of the hotel. There is no lift but we were offered porterage to our room.

Good evening Oysternative

Thank you for your kind comments on your recent visit with us and for taking the time to write a review.
We are situated in a black spot area and we have had a few troubles with our wifi which is out of our control, however, we are working with an outside company who are looking to enhance our wifi signal for us.
We do offer a wide selcetion on our buffet table hpwever, i will look into other options that we could offer for future guets.

I hope to see you return in the near future

We stayed for one night and the staff were so friendly. It was Wednesday steak night and this was from only £40 for 2 and also included a bottle of house wine .
Starters we added and shared the smoked chicken soldiers with a tasty soft hens egg , and the pork belly and squid. We upgraded to the sirloin for only £5 and added the Diane sauce. We squeezed in a dessert the baked Alaska and Eton mess . We stayed in room 3 which had a large window and lovely Country views and a comfy bed. Breakfast also very good, thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay. We will be back.

The dramatic first view of this stunning Hotel high above the valley does not dissapoint. The welcome is friendly and the room comes complete with an amazing view for miles. The dining is likewise excellent with much produce from the owners farm with superb beef and lamb in a lovely setting. A pleasant indoor pool and spa all for a modest price which includes a magnifent breakfast . What’s not to love.
