Anyone interested in photography will find this museum fascinating. It's well curated with a Covid-19 friendly one way system. It's not huge and only takes half an hour or so to have a good look around.

A museum dedicated to photography, but given that we had to wear masks inside, made my visit very hot and uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to get outside!

The museum is really interesting and normally there would be quite a bit of interactive displays which have sadly been disabled for the time being. despite that, we enjoyed hearing about Fox Talbot and his contribution to photography.
Upstairs, there was an art exhibition of a current photographer. Her artwork was great, really well connected to the whole spirit of the museum.

We visited and it was a quick visit as only the great hall was open. We still enjoyed a good walk around the grounds and museum. The museum is really interesting. Such a pretty place t I walk around.

As you enter the museum is to the left.
Split over two levels we thoroughly enjoyed the first floor which was full of Maggie Taylor exhibits which were very pythonesque.
The museum is also wheelchair/ pram friendly as it has a small lift.
Worth a visit even if it lasts a quarter of an hour.
Visited 28th November 2019.
